My unemployment was denied due to, insufficient base period wages, Qtr. used to calculate $2275.50...?

should i disagree? what quarter do they go by? i wonder if i can't receive unemployment, are there any low income programs to help me. i am a single mom who has a limited availability of thur and fri, maybe saturday due to nursing school. can i receive unemployment?|||You must work a certain amount of pay weeks to be eligible for unemployment - you obviously didn't meet that criteria.

And, why can't you work a regular job? Many, many single mothers manage to work a full time job and raise their kids too.

The taxpayers shouldn't have to pay for you and your children. You brought them into the world and it is YOUR responsibility to support them.

You could always work full time days and go to "nursing school" in the evenings. It might take longer but you wouldn't be using my tax dollars to support you.|||I see your story has changed.|||based on quarter ending before the last quarter. 640 hours required in most states. need to be availavle to work full time to obtain unemployment insurance.

believe me, i understand, school and work are difficult to balance. good luck.
