Can i shift what days my period arrives based on when i take my pills?

i always get my period on a weekend, which happens to be the only time i can see my boyfriend : /


i always start a new pack of pills the sunday after i get my period on a thursday. can i wait a few days before i start a new pack and change when i get my period?|||You can skip your sugar pills and just not have a period this month. Or rearrange them so you get your period after he leaves.
