Do you find out how far along you are based on the start of your last period or conception?

Don't the doctors base it on the start of the last period now? I talked to my mom, and she swears it is conception, but maybe that's just how they used to do it...

Start from first day of last monthly period . And 40 weeks from then is due date.





I think your mom says conception because it would be 38 weeks from that day. which also makes sense aswel.


Because some people count the 14 days before conception others dont. But doctors do. so i think thats why.
