my last day of work will be this 20 February due to the city laying us off. Does anyone know when my 12 month "base period" would be? It's so confusing? I ask because I switched jobs and want to see if this job will be the earnings considered for unemployment.|||Go to EED.CA.gov to get the correct information. It goes back to the quarter ending about 3 months earlier and is very confusing.
Find out ALL the facts before filing. You have time. You may benefit by waiting a couple months to file if you can afford it.
