Criticize the movie, 10,000 BC base on your knowledge about Paleolithic-Neolithic Period. Thanks?

Also, compare it to Apocalypto if you can.|||The first band of hunters seemed to be in Europe, but strangely they also looked very 'multicultural' (unlike the other tribes such as the African one...hmmm.) People did not domesticate mammoths. They seemed to walk literally out of Europe into a desert. They quickly understand and get along with 'nice' tribes on the way.Pyramids as depicted did not exist at that date, and aliens certainly weren't involved.

Apocalypto was a better movie; the scenes depicting the various cultures was very well done, but even it's plot was thin. Guy gets captured and taken for sacrifice, guy escapes and mows down lots of baddies on his way to freedom.

In prehistoric era movies (both of above) they always seem to be doing pointless human sacrifices. Reasons for this behaviour are never given, and there usually would be one, usuasally involving propitiation of a god/spitit or to cleanse a perceived stain on the tribe/temple etc|||It was just an awful movie.

No aliens in real life, and I don't see how anyone could have domesticated the mammoth.

Apocalypto was much better - better made, better storyline, much more believable.Just a much better movie all round.|||Fact: Humans and dinosaurs did NOT co-exist.
