If real GDP is less than nominal GDP in a given year, the GDP deflator must be lower than in the base period?

I've got an economics test i'm studying for and i'm not good!

also, does a share issue by a company increase gdp??

thanks :-)|||You need data for at least two periods for both real and nominal GDP to answer - from information you are provided it's impossible to make such conclusion.

A share issue by a company DOESN'T increases GDP.
